Preston Carp Maggot Feeder L 28gr Maggot Feeder detailed description
The Preston Carp Maggot Feeder L 28 g is the largest, high-capacity feeder basket in the Maggot Feeder family, specifically developed by Preston Innovations for intensive live bait fishing. The L-sized basket is an ideal choice when fish are actively feeding, or when targeting larger carp, crucian carp, and bream species. The large bait capacity allows for a significant amount of maggots, pinkies, or other live bait to be introduced to the fishing spot, thus continuously maintaining fish activity.
The 28-gram weight is particularly advantageous for achieving longer casting distances and in situations where the basket needs to sink quickly and lie stably on the bottom. The precise design of the weight distribution ensures accurate, repeatable casts, which is essential in targeted feeder fishing. The 28 g version performs especially well in deeper waters or gently flowing channels where stability and rapid sinking are key.
The basket is made of durable, strong plastic that resists frequent casts, underwater stress, and mechanical strain. The perforated side walls ensure a natural, even outflow of maggots, while preventing the bait from leaving too quickly. The design allows the bait to appear directly near the hook, which significantly increases the number of bites, especially for large fish.
The Preston Carp Maggot Feeder L 28 g is easy to fill, can be heavily loaded, and holds its own in any situation where natural, live bait feeding is the most effective method. The large-sized basket is particularly useful in competition fishing, during intensive carp fishing, and when fish require a large quantity of bait to be held in place.
