Preston Carp Maggot Feeder M 16gr Maggot Feeder Basket detailed description
The Preston Carp Maggot Feeder M 16 g is a medium-sized maggot feeder basket specifically developed by Preston Innovations to meet the demands of modern feeder fishing. The purpose of the Maggot Feeder series is to ensure the natural, continuous outflow of maggots, pinkies, and other live baits, thus keeping fish at the fishing spot for longer. The M size version offers a larger bait capacity than the S size, making it an ideal choice when more active fish movement is expected, or when targeting larger fish.
The 16-gram weight creates a perfect balance between casting distance and stable bottom retention. It can be excellently used in still waters, canals, and slowly flowing rivers, as the basket sinks quickly and lies stably on the riverbed. Thanks to its weight distribution, it allows for precise casts, which is especially important for targeted, concentrated feeding.
The basket is made of durable, strong plastic that resists frequent casting and mechanical stress. The perforated side walls ensure the even outflow of bait, while preventing maggots from leaving the basket too quickly. The design allows the bait to appear directly near the hook, significantly increasing the number of bites, especially for carp, crucian carp, and larger bream species.
The Preston Carp Maggot Feeder M 16 g is easy to fill, can handle heavy loads, and stands its ground in all situations where natural, live bait feeding is the most effective method. The medium-sized basket is particularly useful when fish are feeding more actively, and a larger quantity of maggots needs to be introduced.
