Preston Carp Maggot Feeder M 24gr Maggot Feeder Cage detailed description
The Preston Carp Maggot Feeder M 24 g is a medium-sized, live bait feeder basket, developed by Preston Innovations to meet the demands of modern feeder fishing. The purpose of the Maggot Feeder series is to ensure a natural, continuous outflow of maggots, pinkies, and other live baits, thus keeping fish in the fishing spot for longer. The M-sized version offers a larger bait capacity than the S-size, making it particularly effective when fish are feeding more actively, or when targeting larger carp, crucian carp, and bream.
The 24-gram weight is particularly advantageous in situations where a longer casting distance is needed, or the bottom is slightly muddy, and it is important for the feeder to sink quickly, lie stably, and not tip over. The precise design of the weight distribution allows for accurate, repeatable casts, which is essential for targeted, concentrated feeding.
The basket is made of durable, strong plastic that resists frequent casts and mechanical stress. The perforated sidewalls ensure a uniform, natural outflow of bait, while preventing maggots from leaving too quickly. The design allows the bait to appear directly near the hook, which significantly increases the number of bites, especially when fish are searching for natural food on the bottom.
The Preston Carp Maggot Feeder M 24 g is easy to fill, can be heavily loaded, and performs well in all situations where natural, live bait feeding is the most effective method. The combination of the medium-sized basket's larger bait capacity and the 24-gram weight is an ideal choice for fishing at longer distances, or on days when fish are feeding intensely.
