Preston Carp Maggot Feeder S 12gr Maggot Feeder Basket detailed description
The Preston Carp Maggot Feeder S 12 g is a small, highly effective feeder basket specifically designed for maggot fishing, and a fundamental piece of modern feeder fishing. Preston Innovations created this type to meet the demands of carp anglers, and it works particularly well when fish are feeding more cautiously, and natural bait flow is key to success.
The feeder's compact S size allows for discreet, fine feeding, making it an ideal choice for cold water, competition situations, or when fish are not responding to large quantities of groundbait. The 12-gram weight provides a perfect balance between accurate castability and stable bottom holding, making it excellent for use in stillwaters and slowly flowing channels.
The Preston Carp Maggot Feeder is made of durable, strong plastic that resists mechanical stress and frequent casting. The perforated side walls ensure a continuous, natural outflow of maggots, pinkies, or other live bait, keeping fish at the fishing spot for longer. The design of the feeder guarantees fast sinking and stable positioning, while the bait does not get stuck and dissolves evenly.
One of the biggest advantages of maggot feeder baskets is that the bait appears directly near the hook, significantly increasing the number of bites. The Preston Carp Maggot Feeder S 12 g is particularly effective for carp, crucian carp, and larger bream, but it is also a popular choice among fine fishing anglers. The feeder is easy to use, handles well, and performs in all situations where maggots are the most effective bait.
