Raid Japan has developed two complementary Blade jig types: the Type-SPEED and the Type-POWER models, which embody the "subtle" and "powerful" alluring effects. These lures were designed for situations where traditional Blade jigs proved ineffective. To create the perfect jig, there was a natural demand for "strong vibration with slow retrieve," but also a need for its opposite: a lure with "fine vibration that reacts well even with fast retrieve."

While Blade jigs generally work best in murky, windy, wavy waters or amidst dense snags, the situation is different in Japan. The waters are often crystal clear, with little structure and open water. Here, a lure was needed that vibrates subtly even with fast retrieve – and thus the Type-SPEED was born.

Weight variations: 8g / 11g / 14g

The MAXXBLADE Type-SPEED is built on a new concept: "fast, subtle vibration and outstanding responsiveness".

During arched sinking, the Blade reacts even to minimal movement, while remaining stable during super-fast retrieves, without breaking to the surface. This allows you to retrieve it either dead slow or lightning fast – ideal for clear, open water, in calm or sunny weather, when bass often don't react to traditional jigs.

The Type-SPEED brings a new approach to the Blade jig world: with its tight, subtle yet lively vibration, it creates a realistic baitfish effect. It performs exceptionally well in fast-flowing rivers or oxbow lakes, where its stable movement is unbeatable.

The different weight variations provide solutions for every situation:

8g – for ultra-shallow water
11g – universal, all-around model
14g – for deeper water or strong currents
