Raid Japan has developed two complementary types of bladed jigs: the Type-SPEED and Type-POWER models, which embody "fine" and "powerful" enticing effects. These lures were designed for situations where traditional bladed jigs proved ineffective. To create the perfect jig, there was a natural need for "strong vibration with slow retrieve," but also for its opposite: a lure with "fine vibration that reacts well even with fast retrieval."

While bladed jigs generally work best in murky, windy, wavy water, or among dense snags, the situation is different in Japan. Waters are often crystal clear, with few structures and open water. The MAXXBLADE Type-SPEED is based on a new concept: "fast, fine vibration and outstanding responsiveness.".

During curved sinking, the blade reacts to even minimal movement, while remaining stable during super-fast retrieval, not breaking to the surface. This allows you to retrieve it either dead-slow or lightning-fast__30__ – ideal for clear, open water, in calm or sunny weather, when bass often don't react to traditional jigs.
