Raid Japan has developed two complementary bladed jig types: the Type-SPEED and Type-POWER models, which embody the "finesse" and "powerful" attracting effects. These lures were designed for situations where traditional bladed jigs proved ineffective. For the creation of the perfect jig, there was a natural demand for "strong vibration with slow retrieval," but also the opposite was needed: to create a lure with "fine vibration that reacts well even with fast retrieval."

While bladed jigs generally work best in murky, windy, wavy water or dense snags, the situation in Japan is different. Waters are often crystal clear, with little structure and open water. Here, a lure was needed that vibrates finely even with fast retrieval – and thus the Type-SPEED was born.

Weight variations: 8g / 11g / 14g

The MAXXBLADE Type-SPEED is based on a new concept: "fast, fine vibration and outstanding responsiveness.".

When sinking in an arc, the blade reacts even to minimal movement, while remaining stable even during super-fast retrieval, not breaking to the surface. This allows it to be retrieved dead slow or lightning fast – ideal for clear, open water, calm or sunny weather, when bass often do not react to traditional jigs.

The Type-SPEED brings a new approach to the bladed jig world: with its tight, small movements, yet lively vibrations, it creates a realistic baitfish effect. It performs particularly well in fast-flowing rivers or oxbow lakes, where its stable movement is unbeatable.

The different weight variations offer solutions for every situation:

8g – for ultra-shallow water
11g – universal, all-around version
14g – for deeper water or strong currents

The MAXXBLADE Type-SPEED was born in response to the specific characteristics of Japanese waters, and represents a completely new type of bladed jig – its small size, fine vibration, and quick reaction signify a new level in technical spinning.
