The M65 has unparalleled movement. It offers tight vibration and significant water displacement. Its low water resistance coefficient allows the lure to move in balance in water and air without generating excessive line tension. Additionally, it has a sharp diving angle that helps it quickly reach the specified depth. The M65 8A dives to 9 feet (2.7 m), while the M65 11A dives to 12 feet (3.6 m) with minimal effort.

Many crankbaits experience the so-called "jogging" problem when they hit an obstacle. The impact disrupts the lure's swimming motion, causes it to deviate from its path, and often flips onto its side, from which it does not return to a balanced position. This is not intentionally created chaotic motion, though it often appears that way. However, the M65 features a sophisticated ballast system located directly on the underside, on its spine. When the M65 hits an obstacle, the impact changes the lure's path along the obstacle, but it immediately returns to its balanced position and continues its precise movement.

The M65’s performance doesn't end with its movement. It has a very sophisticated sound chamber. While other crankbaits use beads or balls to create sound, the M65 11A employs a sound deflector system. Perforated metal deflectors are vertically arranged in a chamber, where a ball contacts each deflector, creating a unique sound that disperses again and again. This dual pitch is unique and not found elsewhere.

Both M65 crankbaits offer outstanding performance, but it's the complete package of the entire series that gives the angler an advantage. Perhaps now it's understandable why the M65 took five years to develop. There is no other crankbait like it.
