The popper's wall thickness and internal reinforcements ensure structural strength and durability.

The Popper 64 's "pop" sound provides more powerful water release with less stick movement, thanks to its thin, angled flange. That means no need to grind the baitfish to get a better grip on the water. The more angled glass helps the baitfish "walk the dog". Yes, this popper really does perform the "walk the dog" technique smoothly. If you stop and pop it suddenly, a significant amount of water will move.

While many poppers are simple in design, DUO has gone for something more complex. Our R&D team spent many hours perfecting the action and static tuning of the baitfish. Many tournament poppers rest nearly horizontal or at an angle of about 30-40 degrees, which frees the hook tips and lengthens the profile. DUO, however, has gone in a different direction. The Popper 64 rests almost vertically, which gives a more streamlined silhouette and doesn't lose any hook-up rates. The waves don't affect its movement or position, so there are more baitfish in the water, which makes it more likely to attract fish.

If you examine the back of most popper, you'll notice that the designer has simply finished the job there. The back of the Realis Popper 64 is aggressively tapered. It has a sharp east end that is smoothed out at the bottom of the back. This aids the "walk the dog" movement. The hook attachment area is smoothed backwards to give the back hooks more room to move.

The sound chambers on the Realis Popper 64 are more advanced than on other JDM poppers. It can generate sound evenly and from multiple directions, unlike many topwater lures that can only maximize acoustics in one direction.
