The LEVEL MINNOW PLUS is a medium-depth model designed to be fished in approximately 2 meters of water. Retaining the excellent qualities of the LEVEL MINNOW series, this version allows the lure to be brought one level deeper.

While the original LEVEL MINNOW dives to approximately 1.5 meters (+?), the LEVEL MINNOW PLUS can work down to 2 meters (+?). This zone is often the most ideal range for bites, making the PLUS version a truly essential tool that helps target this “golden depth”.

For example, in extremely cold months, when fish activity is minimal and it's difficult to entice them into upper water layers, the LEVEL MINNOW PLUS can trigger reaction bites by passing directly through the strike zone.

For further depth, use fluorocarbon line, which sinks due to its high density, pulling the lure deeper. The LEVEL MINNOW series inherently has a slow-floating characteristic, but it can be further tuned with a stick-on weight for deeper diving or “dead-slow floating”. If you attach the weight to the front of the body, the lure will tilt forward and dive deeper. The effect of the weight depends on water temperature, line thickness, and conditions, so it's advisable to adjust the settings accordingly.

In cold water, a pause during retrieval is crucial for triggering bites. The tactic: from the very first cast, intentionally make the lure perform attention-grabbing movements (like a worm), then pause and wait for the fish to come closer and strike.

Just like the original version, a magnetic weight transfer system ensures long casting distance. During the cast's swing, the weight shift is noticeable, providing a stable flight position and helping to reach distant targets.

Its movement is the usual tight and fast, but since it operates in deeper water, the body structure is reinforced to withstand greater water pressure.

Important: every lure must be tuned to swim straight. If it pulls left, carefully adjust the eyelet to the right. If it deviates to the right, adjust it to the left. Use pliers to bend the eyelet, and always make adjustments gradually, in small steps.
