Pázmány Péter Berkley 100% Fluorocarbon Spinning Leader 0.51mm 40cm

Predator fluorocarbon leaders are well-known and respected in the domestic spinning community. Exclusively assembled with impeccable quality American Berkley base materials (Berkley Big Game Trilene 100% Fluorocarbon), with high-quality components.

Its refractive index is close to that of water, so it is inconspicuous in water (it is not true that it is invisible), has high abrasion resistance, and holds up very well against teeth, snags, and rocky bottoms. After pulling, it maintains its straight shape throughout.
It does not significantly impair the movement of artificial lures (we don't cast 3-gram lures for pike, do we?), does not loop, does not spiral, does not break, does not fray. It is easy to crimp, high tensile strength, has low stretch, and does not cut hands.
It is gentle on fish; many more predatory bites occur during pike fishing, and if the pike is picky, more bites come on fluorocarbon as well.

For zander and asp fishing in places where pike might be present. In such cases, it is advisable to play the fish more gently. Smaller catfish shouldn't be an issue either.

Note: Not recommended for live bait fishing! A live fish swallowed in the throat might slide back into the pike's mouth during the strike, and in an unfortunate case, the fluorocarbon might get cut in the pike's mouth.
Before use, place both ends in the middle of your palm and pull them straight firmly with a clenched fist; it will maintain its shape from that moment on. Another solution is to hang 2-3 kg on the leader for an hour, or cast a few times with a heavier lure!
It is always advisable to replace a damaged leader.
