Throughout the year, there are key periods on most waters between 3 and 4 meters deep, a range that cannot be ignored due to stable water temperatures and an abundance of baitfish. This 3-4 meter range can only be thoroughly covered with fast-moving lures. Crankbaits that typically dive up to 4 meters require a long retrieve distance, meaning they often have large, heavy bodies and are equipped with a shifting center of gravity. However, on large lakes, on weekend days when anglers are concentrated, or depending on the size of the baitfish, this type of lure simply cannot cover everything. This is why we felt a strong need for a deep-diving crankbait whose body size defies traditional norms. The EX-DR was developed with the goal of not only having a compact body but also not having a shifting center of gravity. Omitting a shifting center of gravity increases the development difficulty by several levels, as it must simultaneously meet the requirements of castability and swimming, but the resulting performance is irreplaceable. Since it does not need rails to guide the weight, the slender body allows for an immediate start (fast start), improves the hook-up ratio in stop-and-go situations, and maintains a continuous action that provokes bites even with slow retrieves. All action performance has improved, including the ability to withstand higher speeds even during fast retrieves. The challenge of achieving a 12g weight without a shifting center of gravity was overcome, and the lure was adjusted to achieve the casting distance required for a 4-meter dive. The body was slightly narrowed in width, resulting in a vertically flattened shape that resists tough conditions (tough conditions) and has a shad-like silhouette. Its sides are semi-flat (semi-flat), which facilitates the creation of vibration and flashes (flashing), appealing to a wide range of bass and creating biting opportunities for them. A deep-diving crank has been born that defies conventional wisdom, smoothly reaching 4 meters in an instant while maintaining its natural action with a shad-like vibrancy to entice hard-to-catch bass.
