Crankbaits are hard lures that require a wide range of sizes and diving depths depending on the season, water color, and bait type. The best results cannot be expected if the swimming range is too shallow or too deep relative to the bottom or the top of the weeds. The Blitz DR fills the gap between the wide ranges of the existing Blitz MR and Blitz EX-DR, diving up to 3.5 meters deep from the surface (effective range approx. 3.0 m). Its high performance is valuable in a wide range of situations, such as shore fishing at 2-3 meters water depth, from a boat along a headland or breakline, among standing timber or rocks, or in large lake weed beds or dredged areas where long casts are needed.

Starting with the Basin Crank used at the time of OSP's founding, the line of crankbaits has expanded since the release of the Blitz in 2004. With a perfected structure from the beginning, performance has been enhanced, eliminating the need for model changes, and the goal is for customers to use these lures as staples for a long time. The Honeycomb Super H body, which is approximately 40%-kal thinner than our previous models while maintaining its strength, allows for quick starts (start) and high-pitch action. It eliminates the shifting center of gravity that was previously common in DR crankbaits. Even with a fixed center of gravity, it is less prone to spinning in a headwind, and allows for long casts. By eliminating the internal rails (rails) in the body, the amount of plastic is reduced, and the increased buoyancy is compensated by increasing the weight, centralizing the center of gravity. The clear vibration transmission allows for a vibration that is easy to use even with a 7-foot glass rod. High sensitivity allows for quick detection of contact with structure, enabling techniques such as stopping the retrieve and loosening the lure before it gets deeply snagged. The bib has a rounded base that facilitates breaking free from weeds, but its flat tip also prevents it from tilting sideways on a hard bottom, allowing it to dive forward. Even with a dead slow retrieve, it transmits vibration to the hand, and the shape of the bib and the buoyancy allow it to avoid obstacles without losing its appeal. The rounded body shape, combined with semi-flat sides, creates bite-provoking flashes. Based on years of experience with OSP crankbaits and established physical theory, the Blitz DR is a crankbait whose enhanced overall performance serves a global strategy.
