Since the Bent Minnow 86 was released in 2009, its curved (bent) body has continuously elicited dramatically different reactions from target fish, whether swimming or stationary. It is surprisingly effective on all kinds of predatory fish, not only bass, but also sea bass, mahi-mahi (dolphin fish), trout, and many others. Its catches and reputation have taken not only Japan but the whole world by storm. Its most characteristic feature, the curved body, super-realistically reproduces the image of a baitfish that has lost its swimming ability and is lying on the water surface. Even when stationary, the target fish's reaction is clearly different, which proves its effectiveness. While this visual element is one thing, what is particularly remarkable is its unparalleled, unique movement (action). The unpredictable 3D darting action, which moves up, down, left, right, and diagonally, creates an illusion that unsettling the target fish and leads to a real bite.
