Korda Basix Hair Rigs Wide Gape 8B 18lb pre-tied hook detailed description

These rigs are tied with camo green BASIX coated leader material, with a BASIX Wide Gape hook and a small stripped section to allow movement, which increases hooking potential. The hair is secured with a piece of silicone, helping to prevent tangles; here, the length of the hair has been optimized for the size of the hook baits, corresponding to the selected hook size.

Size 8 is designed for 12 mm hook baits, size 6 for a 15 mm hook bait, and size 4 for an 18 mm hook bait.

Each rig comes with several Hair stoppers and various sizes of Extenda stoppers, allowing you to change the hair length and use different sized baits for which the rig was designed. The other end of the BASIX Hair Rig has a loop and a BASIX Anti Tangle Sleeve, allowing it to be quickly and easily attached to the BASIX Lead Clip Leader or the BASIX Lead Clip Action Pack set (which also includes QC swivels).
