With this clever, slow sinking feeder basket, you can control the sinking speed of the baskets to successfully fish for fish near the surface or in mid-water. This is not possible with traditional sinking baskets. The design allows you to catch fish regardless of which water layer they are in. This method is extremely effective in modern carp fishing in artificial waters. A buoyancy element attached to the bottom of the basket replaces the lead weight. It has an opening sealed with a small plug, through which you can add split shots to balance the body and vary the sinking speed. The basket floats if no extra lead weight is added.
