The essence of wafters is 'weightlessness'. These baits are designed so that their buoyancy just neutralizes the weight of the hook. Under water, the bait floats effortlessly above the bottom or just barely touches it. When a cautious carp sips on sinking boilies in the feeding area, it has to work for the heavy balls. In contrast, the lightened Hard Wafter 'sucks' into the fish's mouth with the slightest suction, flying deep into the throat, which drastically improves the chances of a hook-up.
