The Dart Metal is an improved version of the successful (plastic-based) Dart baskets. The new Dart Metal method feeder baskets are made from a single piece of moulded metal. Even anglers of the ?I'm going to screw EVERYTHING up!!!? type can have problems with this. We don't claim that it is indestructible, but one thing is for sure, you have to crumple up the codend to damage it. So you can step on it, drive over it, knock it to the ground, it can take it.
Each package contains a metal basket and a plastic handlebar. If you don't need to throw it very far, it is not necessary to snap on the guide rod, but above 60 metres it is definitely recommended, because you can drastically increase the stability, accuracy and not least the distance you can throw it. With a guide rod it flies like an arrow!!!
The L size is especially recommended for fine, accurate and medium distance fishing, i.e. 60-80 meters, while the larger XL size is recommended for easy fishing distances above 80 meters. Where does it end? The sky's the limit, but how far the tackle will ultimately fly depends largely on the tackle used and the angler's casting technique. The well thought-out design and precise engineering of the baskets ensures that the bait will remain in them even with a very strong swing, guaranteed by the bottom + top rail and side flange. Large lures can be inserted and the hook is very difficult to hook.
