Responding to anglers' needs, the manufacturer created the 5000 and 6000 size reels, which have been optimized for fishing with longer feeder rods and large feeders. The 6000 spare spool is an ideal choice for those who want to quickly and efficiently adapt to changing conditions for long-distance casting or in powerful river environments.
The design of the spare spool follows the worm shaft and slow oscillation technology, which ensures excellent line lay. This is particularly important during long-distance casting, where even line placement contributes to accurate targeting and reliable playing of fish. The spool is easily accessible and controllable even on the largest reel, so casting is always under control.
The TLS triple-sealed body prevents moisture or groundbait from entering the internal mechanics, thus guaranteeing reliable operation over the long term. The SDX multi-disc drag system allows for precise and delicate playing of fish, while the carbon-reinforced rotor is equipped with a minimal resistance rotor brake, which ensures smooth and consistent operation. The spare spool is compatible with the HX 6000 Pro reel, which has 10+1 ball bearings and a 4.9:1 gear ratio.
The line capacity is 150 méter with Ø0.28 mm line, while line retrieve is 96 cm per handle turn. The weight is 428 grams, which remains minimal thanks to the ultra-light magnesium body, so it does not burden the equipment during longer fishing sessions either.
