The Calamaretti UX carries on the lightness and sensitivity characteristic of the first generation, which are essential for an egging rod. The resulting excellent maneuverability has been re-engineered using the UX manufacturing method. The UX has been renewed without straying from the classic style, making it highly cost-effective and easy to use even for those new to egging techniques.

23GCALUS-7102M
The strongest model in the series, designed specifically for catching giant squid. Due to its short length, it is excellent for quick searches, deeper waters, and local fishing. Also recommended for boat egging.

23GCALUS-832ML
This model is easy to cast, and its length emphasizes maneuverability. Specifically designed for squid lures around No. 3, it is ideal for quickly searching for autumn squid by changing locations.

23GCALUS-862M
With its balanced length, this is a versatile model usable all year round, compatible with a wide range of squid lures, mainly size 3.5.

Blank material and technology
Made from high-modulus carbon to create a slender, lightweight, yet stiff blank. The butt section is made of Graphite Cross LV material, which reduces weight while optimizing torsional and compressive stiffness for a perfect feel.

All models feature stainless steel-framed guides. The joint is a slip-over ferrule (reverse joint), which provides an elegant, one-piece bend. The lightweight and slender VSS reel seat locks downwards.
The reel seat is currently being replaced with an unpainted version. The split grip is made of EVA material, which is extremely durable and corrosion-resistant, making it lightweight and improving handling.
