The set includes three bite indicators, which are extremely sensitive and reliable, detecting every bite instantly. The bite indicators also feature sound and light signals, alerting the angler to a bite even in poor visibility conditions. The set includes a receiver unit, allowing you to monitor bites remotely. The receiver unit has a long range, ensuring effective operation even from greater distances. The components used are flawless and fit together perfectly, which is further emphasized by the sophisticated aluminum speaker cover.
The BRITON bite indicator set is characterized by excellent access to the batteries, facilitating quick battery changes. Both the bite indicator and the receiver unit are powered by three AAA batteries. In addition, the BRITON excelled in long-term tests with excellent battery life and was tested in the most extreme weather conditions (-25 °C and + 35 °C). The set's range is 200m, which depends on conditions (surrounding terrain, vegetation density, battery capacity)! Furthermore, thanks to the special body shape and electronics insulation, its water resistance is excellent. Even heavy rain does not interrupt the connection between the receiver unit and the indicators. Activation is done with toggle switches. This guarantees problem-free switching on even in complete darkness. Moreover, this mechanism is much more resistant. Both the receiver unit and the bite indicator offer the possibility to choose from 8 tones in 8 volume levels (including silent mode). The receiver unit naturally features vibration mode, low battery indication, and memory retention for settings. The bite indicator allows for backlight of the roller wheel, 5 sensitivity level settings (between 0.8 and 4.0cm), low battery level indication, and a 2.5 mm jack input. It also retains settings in its memory. The roller can be mechanically blocked thanks to magnets, which is useful when setting up the bite indicators after casting (they do not give false bites).
