In addition, the BRITON showed excellent battery life during long-term tests and was tested in the most extreme weather conditions (-25 °C and +35 °C). The set has a range of 200 m, which depends on the conditions (surrounding terrain, vegetation density, battery capacity)! Furthermore, thanks to the special body shape and the insulation of the electronics, it has excellent water resistance. Even heavy rain does not interrupt the connection between the receiver unit and the alarm devices. Switching on is done with toggle switches. This guarantees problem-free switching on even in the darkest conditions. Moreover, this mechanism is much more resistant. Both the receiver unit and the bite alarm offer 8 tone options in 8 volume levels. (including silent mode) The receiver unit naturally features a vibration mode, low battery indication, and settings retention in memory. Comfortable transport is assisted by the free hand strap. The bite alarm allows for backlight of the roller, 5 sensitivity level settings (between 0.8 and 4.0 cm), low battery level indication, and a 2.5 mm jack input. It also retains settings in its memory. The roller can be mechanically locked thanks to magnets, which is useful while adjusting the bite alarms after casting (they won't indicate false bites).
