K-Karp Fast Change Pop-up Rig Weight 0.6gr

A useful and very quick to attach small aid, which we use when fishing with pop-up bait, but do not want the bait to float along the entire length of the rig. With this small weight, we can quickly adjust the floating height without disassembling or damaging the rig. The structure consists of two parts. There is a very flexible, solid silicone rod, from which a slightly longer piece than the length of the weight must be cut. When determining the length, one must consider that both ends of the silicone must be graspable, so that the weight can also fit in between. The other component is the weight itself, which is open lengthwise. The rig is threaded through the longitudinal opening into the interior of the weight, then the silicone rod is stretched, which causes its diameter to decrease, so it can pass through the longitudinal cut of the weight, also into the interior of the weight. Subsequently, releasing the silicone allows it to regain its original length and diameter now inside the weight, pressing against the wall of the weight, thereby fixing the rig to the weight. All this takes much longer to describe than to perform. The weight should be placed as far from the hook as desired for flotation. To reposition or remove it, the steps described above must be performed in reverse order.
