Wizard Dravon 2.43m 8-35gr 2-piece Spinning Rod

The Wizard Dravon 2.43 m 8–35 g spinning rod is one of the most reliable and popular tools for modern jig fishing, designed for anglers who place great emphasis on performance as well as appearance. The rod's fast action provides extremely lively feedback to every small lure presentation movement, allowing the angler to maintain continuous control over the artificial lure. Thanks to the fast reaction time, hooksetting is effective, and the hook sits securely in the predator's mouth.
The rod's stiff backbone allows for a firm hookset and stable fish fighting, which is particularly important for zander, pike, and small-to-medium catfish fishing. The robust construction maintains control even during playing, allowing the angler to confidently manage the hooked fish even in strong currents or deeper waters.
The Wizard Dravon's slim, modern-looking rod blank is both elegant and functional. Its feather-light weight prevents arm fatigue during long fishing sessions, keeping spinning comfortable and tireless. The rod's perfect balance makes every cast and fight an enjoyable experience, which is particularly advantageous for jig techniques where precision is key.
The FUJI Q series guides are made with the latest technology, ensuring long lifespan and excellent line flow. Reduced friction results in longer casts, more accurate targeting, and undisturbed lure presentation. This is especially important for jigging, where subtle movements and natural lure movement play a crucial role.
The 2.43 meter length and 8–35 gram casting weight allow for versatile use. It is ideal for shore fishing, where strength, sensitivity, and accurate casts are all needed. The rod performs excellently in shallower waters with 6–10 gram jig heads, but also remains a reliable companion in the stronger currents of the Danube or Tisza. The Dravon's strength and sensitivity make it suitable for effectively catching large zander, aggressive pike, and smaller catfish.
Material and construction:
The rod is made of lightweight yet strong composite material that resists stress and sudden impacts. The two-piece design ensures easy transportability while maintaining the rod's speed and stiffness. Quality guides and precise joints guarantee long-term reliability.
Why is it ideal for fishing? :
The Wizard Dravon's fast action, sensitive tip, and strong backbone create a perfect combination for modern spinning techniques. In jig fishing, the accuracy of lure presentation and the effectiveness of hooksetting are paramount, in which this rod delivers outstanding performance.
