This is a special Cheburashka weight designed for soft plastic baits. Unlike the classic Cheburashka, the Standup Cheburashka has a flat bottom, which creates more resistance in the water, causing it to sink slower. A slower drop means that passive fish have more time to strike the bait.

Thanks to its special shape, the weight always falls to the bottom with its flat side down, where it stands stably, while keeping the hook in a vertical position for a longer time. This effect is even more pronounced when used with floating baits. Such a setup reduces the chance of snags and allows predators to pick up the bait directly from the bottom.

Similar to the traditional Cheburashka, the Standup Cheburashka also has several advantages over traditional jigging techniques. The first is the ability to quickly change the weight without having to remove the bait from the hook. In addition, the bait moves more naturally thanks to the freer movement provided by the hook eye and the Cheburashka wire. The larger eye makes it easier to attach the Cheburashka to the line or clip it on.
