However, TECTON has all the necessary features to fully cover the needs of carp fishing. Regardless of the weather conditions, this bite alarm always remains reliable and signals a bite in three ways: light, vibration, and sound. In addition, it has other important functions such as tone, volume, or sensitivity settings. The bite alarm set is completely waterproof and has excellent battery life. Both the receiver unit and the bite alarms are made of strong plastic for greater durability against mechanical damage. Additionally, the plastic is covered with a soft rubber coating, which is very soft to the touch.

The bite alarm has three buttons. The middle button can be used to turn the device on and off. If you press it for a longer time, the indicator light flashes, creating a nice visual effect that also serves as a night light, helping to easily detect the position of the fishing rods. By briefly pressing the middle button, you can choose from eight available tones. The bite alarm indicates a drop back bite with a different sound. To select the volume level or silent mode, press the V button on the left side. With the S button on the right side, you can choose from 5 sensitivity levels. All settings can be stored in memory.

The product also includes removable snag-ears, which hold the rod in place so it doesn't come out of the bite alarm. The 2+1 set includes a receiver unit and one red and one blue bite alarm, but for the TECTON, an additional 4 colors (yellow, green, purple, and white) can be purchased separately. This way you can have a bite alarm where the diode color matches the indicator. But this is not the only advantage of having multiple colors. It will surely be noticeable that the receiver unit has 6 diodes, which means that six different TECTON bite alarms can be paired with it, and it will be easier to distinguish them with different colored lights.

The receiver has reliable reception, with a range of up to 200 meters, depending on conditions. You can choose from eight volume levels, and in case of a bite, you can turn the vibration function on or off. The receiver's alarm sound matches the tones selected for each bite alarm. Thanks to its specially designed shape, you can place it vertically on the table or hang it by its hook. All settings can be stored in memory.

The TECTON operates with AAA 1.5 V batteries (3 for the receiver, 2 for the bite alarms), and if they start to run low, both the receiver and the bite alarm indicate this by flashing every 5 seconds. The entire set comes in a hard plastic case to protect it during transport.
