The pentagonal basket is made of solid and strong wire. This shape prevents the cage from bending during loading and also improves the better underwater distribution of the bait. Compared to the usual square cross-section, it provides more space for the groundbait.

Its weight is perfect for long casts and results in faster sinking. Moreover, thanks to better weight distribution, it can be retrieved much more easily. The bottom of the basket has five studs, designed to keep the basket in place on the riverbed even in stronger currents or during increased fish activity. The shape and weight of the basket guarantee that it will always be in the correct position on the riverbed, with its weighting always facing the bottom.
