UL spinning rods with this action allow the use of the thinnest monofilaments and braided lines. During a bite, the impact on the line is not immediate but gradual – precisely the opposite of tip action rods. At the same time, the rod's action allows for more precise casting, which is essential when using ultralight lures. The handle is shortened to allow for comfortable casting even in tight spaces.
