Trabucco Crimps Oval Aluminum 1.0x2.0x10mm Crimping Tube 20pcs detailed description
For most bite-proof leaders (fluorocarbon, steel leader), hooks and snaps can be attached not only by knotting but also by crimping. The method is reliable and fast. For stiffer leaders, it is also more secure than knotting. The best tool for securing the crimping sleeve is a dedicated tool (crimping pliers). The original name of this small part: the crimp (wave) refers to the shape of the already secured crimping sleeve. Thanks to the corrugated design, the inserted leader automatically takes the optimal position, which helps to eliminate the strands overlapping before crimping. It is extremely strong, yet very light, as it is made of an aluminum alloy.
