This type is the upgraded version of the XSC series, a compact Big Pit, i.e., big fish reel.
The first thing that stands out is the super slow oscillation, which lays the line on the spool in a way that ensures smooth line release during casting, thus achieving maximum distance.
Another important factor, is the quick drag. Here, one and a half turns are enough to significantly reduce the fully engaged drag force. A full-value spare spool and spool reducers are factory accessories. The ULTEGRA 5500XSD is a precise, reliable, premium category reel with a more favorable price range, and it is also important that it is an instant drag braking system reel with a cold-forged aluminum spool, and this 5500 model works with a retrieve of 105 cm.
