The Shimano SpeedMaster 14000 XTC was made for this! In some respects, it is an evolution of the ULTEGRA 14000 XTD, not only in design but also in its braking system and line guide roller. Its drag travel is faster than that of the ULTEGRA reel, and its line guide roller system is modeled after the BIG BAITRUNNER reel, meaning it is more enclosed and stable than the Speedcast. The reel comes with 2 different spool reducers, which can significantly reduce the amount of line wound on. The 3500 reducer ring has a line capacity of 0.20 mm/200 meters, and the 10000 spool reducer ring can accommodate 0.40 mm/300 meters of monofilament line.
