When creating the XTractor Recon series, the goal was to minimize transport size while maximizing performance. The result was unquestionable, creating the most compact carp rods.

The Recon series combined dual retractable technology with the brand new Vari-Taper™ joint structure, which is guaranteed to give the feel of simple 2-piece carp rods. - Peak performance, combined with perfect comfort, without compromises.

The 12FT (360 cm) Recon versions, when folded, are only 50 inches (127 cm) in size, making them the most versatile carp rods ever produced in the Sonik range for transport.

They feature slim, Japanese-style handles and 50mm butt guides, which will perform excellently during casting and fighting. Compared to the original XTractor series, Recon rods also have a progressive action, which makes them perfect for all forms of carp fishing.

If the performance of a 12ft rod is needed due to the distances fished, but the transport of 360cm rods causes problems, then the XTractor Recon rods will provide an excellent solution. When folded, they are only 127cm, equipped with a 50mm butt guide. The series is available in 3 strengths, which can cover all needs of casting fishing.
