Perhaps the most popular additive among Hungarian anglers is TTX, or corn cake as it is also known.
This additive is primarily a delicacy for carp, an essential attractant for their fishing. Essentially, it is valuable dry matter remaining after oil extraction from corn, with a sweet taste, pervasive corn scent, and 10-15% oil content. Fish cannot resist this complex scent and taste experience.
The Speciál Mix corn cake is marketed in a ground version for easier usability. It can be used as a carp additive for groundbait, but also on its own for binding various seeds, in which case it should be mixed drier.
Regarding dosage, one bag of TTX can be used for 3-4 kg of groundbait. One bag of corn cake weighs 800 grams, capable of absorbing one liter of water or aroma, and if the aroma is added, it will slowly dissolve from it at the bottom of the water.
