Shimano SLX XT A 151 Left Hand (SLXXT151A) - Left-handed baitcasting reel detailed description
Discover the Shimano SLX XT A 151 Left Hand Baitcasting Reel, an upgraded version of the extremely popular SLX, which is one of Shimano's best-selling baitcasting reels! This reel retains all the fundamental, success-driving features of the original SLX model, while the 'XT' version boasts the most modern SVS Infinity casting brake adjustment system. Get ready for an exceptional fishing experience where precision meets performance!
The Shimano SLX XT A 151 is the perfect choice if you are looking for a proven baitcasting reel that offers excellent value for money and advanced technology, especially for effective casting of light lures. The reel has retained the robustness and strength characteristic of all SLX models, while the brilliant SVS Infinity system provides unparalleled precision.
This advanced technology optimizes casting control with the help of an external adjustment dial, significantly improving performance, especially when using lighter lures. You can easily and accurately fine-tune the braking pressure, which is crucial for delicate, light lures where minimal braking force is needed. With the SVS Infinity system, casts can be executed more easily and accurately than ever before.
Like all SLX models, the 'XT' version also features a top-quality HAGANE body, made of lightweight aluminum. This is surprising for a reel in this price category and provides a significant performance advantage compared to weaker, composite-bodied reels. The strong, rigid body operates more efficiently under load, guaranteeing reliable performance.
The reel is also equipped with an upgraded aluminum S3D spool and an extra, high-quality ball bearing on the spool shaft, further refining the performance of one of Shimano's most popular baitcasting reel families. The 6.3:1 gear ratio and 4 bearings further enhance smooth and efficient operation, while the 205-gram weight ensures comfortable use over long periods. The left-hand (151) version is ideal for left-handed anglers or those who prefer left-hand retrieve.
In our fishing webshop, in addition to quality reels, you can find a wide selection of fishing sets, rods, and other fishing equipment.
