The Lew’s SuperDuty 300 RWH baitcast reel is a large, powerful baitcast reel specifically designed for fishing for trophy predator fish. This model is the strongest member of the Lew’s SuperDuty series, built to handle large lures and thick lines, making it an ideal choice for catfish fishing, large zander, pike, or even saltwater predators.
The reel's frame and side plates are made of strong, anodized aluminum, ensuring a long lifespan and stable construction. The large, 34 mm aluminum spool has exceptional line capacity, so using thick braided or monofilament lines is not a problem. The gear system operates with Hamai CNC machine-produced Speed Gears®, which guarantee smooth running and reliable power transmission. The P2 Super Pinion® bearing-supported gear provides stability and long-term reliability, allowing the reel to perform excellently even under heavy loads.
The reel contains 10+1 stainless steel, double-shielded ball bearings, which ensure smooth and quiet operation. The drag system is made with carbon fiber washers, providing up to 11 kg of maximum drag power, allowing for safe handling of trophy fish. The externally adjustable, 6-point QuietCast® centrifugal braking system allows for precise casting control, minimizing backlashes.
The SuperDuty 300 has a gear ratio of 7.5:1, which ensures fast line retrieve. With one turn of the handle, it can retrieve up to 86 cm of line, which is particularly advantageous when retrieving large lures and in fishing situations requiring quick reactions. The 110 mm, anodized aluminum handle is equipped with large grips, providing a comfortable and secure hold, even under heavy load.
