The S-Shiner differs from traditional, lip-equipped hard swimbaits, as it performs a smooth, S-shaped glide and slalom movement during continuous retrieve. This extremely lifelike movement instantly activates the territorial instincts of predatory fish, which cannot resist this provocation for long – bites are often extremely aggressive!

Thanks to its elongated, lifelike silhouette and animation performed with a high rod, the S-Shiner moves close to the surface, up to a maximum depth of 1 meter, leaving a clearly visible wake behind it. Since predators prefer to hunt prey moving close to the surface, it is rare for them to leave this bait untouched!

If the angler holds the rod low, or even dips the rod tip into the water, the bait sinks 1 meter in 5 seconds, then moves between 50 cm and 1 meter, to provoke bites even from less active fish.

Through its double joint, the S-Shiner performs a tight swimming action during steady retrieve, but it can also be easily made to 'walk the dog' and produce side splashes if led through the water column with varying strength jerks.
