The LEVEL CRANK MID is a medium-diving crankbait that scans the 1.5–2 meter water layer with vigorous, rhythmic movements.

Most shallow-designed crankbaits cannot reach deep enough, while medium-diving ones often go too deep and only work properly with forced retrieve speeds. The LEVEL CRANK MID has been specifically developed to target this previously hard-to-reach 'golden depth' zone.

Medium-diving crankbaits are often ineffective because they dive too steeply and immediately hit the bottom. The LEVEL CRANK MID has a special Catapult lip (dive plate) that guides the lure in at a shallow angle, allowing it to accurately yet delicately feel along hard bottom structures like rocks and boulders. The lure moves at a shallow angle with subtle action, effortlessly and precisely avoiding obstacles, thereby maximally triggering the predator's attack instinct.

Another important advantage of the shallower dive angle is that it results in less water resistance, allowing for faster and more efficient retrieval in the mid-water layer.

The LEVEL CRANK MID, like the LEVEL CRANK and LEVEL SHAD, uses internal ribs and fixed internal weighting. This revolutionary internal design results in thinner, lighter walls while maintaining the structural rigidity of the body. Due to increased buoyancy, the lure quickly recovers its original position if partially snagged, and bouncing off obstacles makes it even more effective during aggressive 'bottom-knocking' retrieves.

The optimally placed center of gravity and the uniquely shaped lip provide an extremely pleasant casting feel – surprisingly long casts can be achieved with it, especially compared to a fixed-weight, long-lipped crankbait.

Catapult lip
The LEVEL CRANK MID's self-developed innovation. This lip is set at a shallow angle and limits excessive deep diving. The Catapult edge guides the water surface off the plate in such a way as to prevent the body from tilting too far forward, thus maintaining a shallow dive angle.

Internal Ribbing
The internal ribbing system, already proven in the LEVEL CRANK and LEVEL SHAD models, ensures a lightweight yet robust body. Higher buoyancy allows for the use of heavier weights for longer casts, faster ascent after snagging, and more lively movement response. A true unique development by RAID JAPAN.
