The LEVEL CRANK MID is a medium-diving crankbait that scans the 1.5–2 meter water layer with a dynamic, rhythmic movement.

Most shallow-designed crankbaits cannot get deep enough, while medium-diving ones often go too deep and only work properly with forced retrieve speeds. The LEVEL CRANK MID was specifically developed to target this previously hard-to-reach, "golden depth" zone.

Mid-range crankbaits are often ineffective because they dive too steeply and immediately hit the bottom. The LEVEL CRANK MID features a special, so-called Catapult lip (diving lip) that introduces the lure at a shallow angle, allowing it to precisely yet delicately feel out hard bottom structures like riprap and rocks. The lure moves with a low-angle, subtle action, easily and precisely avoiding obstacles, thereby maximizing the predatory instinct of fish.

Another important advantage of the shallower diving angle: it results in less water resistance, allowing it to be retrieved faster and more efficiently in the middle water column.

The LEVEL CRANK MID, like the LEVEL CRANK and the LEVEL SHAD, uses internal ribs and fixed internal weighting. This revolutionary internal design results in thinner, lighter walls while maintaining the structural rigidity of the body. Due to increased buoyancy, the lure quickly recovers its original position if it gets partially stuck, and by bouncing off snags, it becomes even more effective during aggressive "bottom-knocking" retrieves.

The optimally placed center of gravity and the uniquely shaped diving lip provide an extremely pleasant casting feel – surprisingly long casts can be achieved with it, especially compared to a fixed-weight, long-lipped crankbait.

Many may have previously avoided targeted fishing of the middle water column. The LEVEL CRANK MID is a new weapon to break through obstacles in this valuable zone where fish often hide.

Catapult lip
LEVEL CRANK MID's proprietary innovation. This diving lip is set at a shallow angle and limits excessive deep diving. The Catapult edge directs the water flow off the lip in a way that prevents the body from tilting too far forward, thus keeping the diving angle shallow.

Internal ribbing
The internal rib system, already proven in the LEVEL CRANK and LEVEL SHAD models, ensures a light yet sturdy body. Higher buoyancy allows for greater weight for longer casts, faster ascent after snagging, and more dynamic movement. A true unique development by RAID JAPAN.
