Without it, on one hand, we wouldn't know exactly at what distance we are fishing on a given occasion, and on the other hand, it would be very difficult to cast our other rods to the same distance. The latter is one of the most crucial aspects of competitive feeder fishing (and, let's admit, match rod fishing too). These newly launched stainless steel sticks can be easily inserted into any soil except concrete and can be tightly adjusted from 1 to 5 meters using the tape found in the bag. The silicone at the end of the sticks helps prevent the line from slipping during quick measurements in feeder fishing, and also allows the hook to be threaded underneath for float fishing.
