This leader is impregnated with tungsten collars to ensure it stays pinned to the bottom. It also includes the Chod Safe System, which ensures the hooklink detaches from the main line if the main line breaks. The hooklink can be easily attached using the QC Ring Swivel.

The DM Heli-Safe Leader is available in 1-meter or 50cm lengths, providing enough space to move the top bead upwards, for example, when fishing in deeper silt or amongst aquatic vegetation, thus ensuring good bait presentation when using the longer version. Some fishing spots already have rules limiting the maximum leader length, and this is where the 50cm version comes in handy – it's also great for long-distance fishing as it can be cast further.

The other end of this leader has a fused loop to which you can tie your main line, or for easy removal of the leader, the loop-to-loop method is best. The Dark Matter leader material is highly abrasion-resistant, has a breaking strain of 40lb, and can be matched to any type of lakebed, as it is available in Clear, Weed, or Gravel. Each pack contains one leader.
