The new 20lb - 0.50 mm version of Boom, and as its name suggests, the main function of this leader material is to create a stiff connection with rigs such as spinner, hinged stiff, and combi rigs.

Korda Boom 0.50mm (15m) leader line detailed description

This fluorocarbon has a green tint to blend even better into the lakebed; it's transparent, but its biggest advantage is that it can be crimped – we have the right Krimp for every diameter of Boom.
For this 0.50 mm version, we recommend using the 0.5 mm XS Krimp.
It's very stiff, ensuring your rig kicks away from the lead every time and lies straight, plus you can be sure it won't tangle. Available in four different diameters that cover all fishing situations – 15lb 0.45 mm diameter; 20lb in 0.50 mm; 25lb in 0.55 mm; and 35lb in 0.65 mm – it comes on a 15-meter spool
