The tripod is a popular tool for feeder fishing. Made of stainless steel, it is compact, fits in a small space and is easy to transport. The legs, open to a large spreader, provide stability even in windy or flowing water, but with a weight hooked to a hook under the vertical column of the tripod or a bucket of water, it is almost untoppable in normal use.
