While it may not reach the extreme distances of full-sized Big Pit or the „Big” Baitrunner models, its performance is guaranteed to impress. This 8000-size is ideal for carp fishing on medium-sized waters, with a maximum drag force of 5 kg.



The perfect line profile is ensured by Aero Wrap II and 2-speed oscillation, resulting in an almost flawless line lay on the spool. This excellent line lay, combined with the friction-reducing AR-C spool, further increases impressive casting distances. The spool material is cold-forged aluminum, and a spare spool made of the same material is also included. Its line capacity is noteworthy: 0.30mm/390m, 0.35mm/290m or 0.40mm/200m.



Inside the black and silver hybrid body, there is a precisely arranged gear system and 6 SHIELDED A-RB bearings. This combination provides the smoothness and power expected from Shimano reels, while its 4.6:1 gear ratio and 96 cm line retrieve guarantee outstanding efficiency with every turn of the handle.
