Several companies have already copied the shape, but the unique movement of the Salmo Fatso has not yet been perfectly replicated. You can use it in several ways, retrieving it either at a continuous, steady speed or with subtle, small jerks.
In shallow water (0.5-1 meter), raise the rod tip high and retrieve it over aquatic vegetation. In deeper areas, keep the rod tip as low as possible and comb through the lower water layer with firm jerks.

The floating model is indispensable when fish are not biting. Retrieve it quickly, and occasionally stop it. The Fatso then rushes towards the surface like an injured fish, which provokes even the laziest predators to strike.
