Wizard DROPSHOT LEADER MEDIUM 15G 0.25 SIZE 8 HOOK Dropshot rig detailed description
The essence of the DS method is that the hook used for the bait and the lead needed for casting are not integrated, but must be attached separately to the rig. The essence of the separation is that our lure will not touch the bottom, but will move completely mid-water at a set distance from the DS lead. This could not be achieved with traditional methods.
With this method, by stopping the bait at a specific spot, after a longer retrieve, we can provoke bites with small localized movements, which often results in strikes from predators.
The rig is entirely tied on Fluorocarbon line, which makes it almost invisible underwater!
Thanks to the special DS clip, no separate knot is needed to secure the weight; simply pull the line through the metal clip and tighten it... It is guaranteed not to slip out.
The system allows for extremely quick depth changes.
The package also contains a DS lead with a pre-tied rig ending in a loop, so you only need to choose the appropriate plastic bait, saving a lot of time on rig preparation.
