Koós Surface Predator Rig, Stupek 85Cm detailed description
One of the most effective night catfish angling methods in warming and already warm waters is the surface stupek. Thread a larger lead (around 200 g) onto the main line, then tie on our pre-made end rig. At the bottom end of the setup, attach a weight heavy enough to keep the bait fish on the hook continuously near the surface. The baitfish splashing on the water surface will entice nearby catfish to bite. A strong rod (ET Power Cat, Rubin Cat) and a robust reel (Banax Koós SI) are recommended.
