Let's see how to mix a general groundbait and in which phase breaking sieves play a major role.

First, mix the dry ingredients in a large bucket or tub.
Then, take a container whose volume you know, say a half-liter maggot box will do.
Add enough water to your groundbait to achieve an almost ready consistency. (here the outcome can vary, perfectly consistent, drier, wetter, etc.)
Then mix it by hand so that the particles are evenly moistened, and then comes the sieving.
Place two handfuls of groundbait on the sieve, gently push the particles through at the edges, and once done, cover it and let it rest for at least 30 minutes.

Then, by re-moistening and breaking it through, you get the final consistency!At this point, you can add powdered aromas, corn, micro pellets, seeds.

During the breaking process, choose a sieve with the appropriate mesh size for your groundbait, so that you can easily pass your groundbait through the sieve.
