The Pony among Lucky radars is a compact handheld version, which includes a wireless sonar along with basic accessories.

Sonar operation is based on the propagation of sound waves. The fishfinder sonar determines the contour, structure, and depth of the seabed. The sonar emits sound waves, and determines the distance from the object based on the reflection time. Then, the position, size, and composition are determined with the help of the returning signal.

Fishfinding and depth measurement

In the upper left corner of the display, you can read the current water depth after switching on the device and placing the sonar in the water.

Fish display

When the radar detects fish, it indicates them with a fish-shaped icon on the display. It is capable of detecting large and small fish. The column on the right side of the screen shows the position of the fish. The fish icon changes and refreshes every 5 seconds.
