A useful and very quick to assemble little tool to use when you are fishing with pop-up lures but don't want the lure to float the full length of the leader. With this small weight you can quickly adjust the float height without breaking or damaging the bait. The structure consists of two parts. There is a very flexible, solid silicone rod, cut a little longer than the length of the weight. When determining the length, it should be taken into account that both ends of the silicone must be able to be gripped so that the weight can fit between them. The other component is the weight itself, which is open along its length. The front end is inserted into the weight through the longitudinal opening and the silicone rod is stretched, which reduces its diameter so that it can fit through the longitudinal slot in the weight. The silicone rod is then released and returns to its original length and diameter inside the weight, pressing against the wall of the weight, thus securing the front end to the weight. All of this, described in this way, takes much longer than it takes to do. The weight should be placed as far away from the hook as you want to float it. To move or remove, the steps described above should be done in reverse order.
