There might be few fishing rods on the market whose appearance would have been preceded by such a long and thorough preparatory work and a series of test fishing sessions. Béla Lukácsi, our renowned spinning angler, scattered crumbs to anglers at an exhibition years ago. He then showcased Salmo wobblers and L&K lure novelties with the unmarked prototypes of these rods. Where do we start the presentation? Let's start from the beginning! Yes, the beginning, the tip. It immediately stands out that the winding of the starting guides has a vibrant lemon-yellow color. This is significant because it almost attracts the eye and allows us to better see the vibrations of the rod tip, whether it's a bite or just snags on the bottom, or other information. Further down, we can see the elegant, single-footed guide set, which is extra light, yet strong and equipped with wear-resistant SIC inserts. Perfect for braided line fishing. It doesn't wear the line, and the line doesn't wear the guides. Yes, we primarily recommend it for fishing with thin braided lines or nanofil, as these low-stretch lines best transmit what's happening underwater.

Only in the case of the light version do we also recommend monofilament line, as fishing with light and small lures for sensitive fish often requires the use of transparent, ultra-fine lines. The special blank almost guides the vibrations from below to our hands, so we will feel not only from the tip but also from our hands when there is a fish on our hook. Further down, we see a screw-down reel seat, which securely holds the matching reels. Moving towards the end of the handle, we see that we are dealing with a split handle. It provides a modern yet comfortable grip and also properly serves weight distribution.

A truly delicate fishing rod, with which we can present even the smallest lures. We can use it with thin nanofil or monofilament line, but L&K's thinnest 0.04 mm yellow braided line can also be a good choice. An opponent for coastal perch, gobies, smaller zander, and pike. Due to its sensitivity, we can present the lure so precisely that none of these predators can resist it.

Green-Medium-Light action Casting weight: 5-17 g Recommended reel size: 2000-3000

A transition between the finest and medium-strength rod! It prefers a 0.08 mm braided line or an equivalent nanofil. It is strong enough to bring even the largest zander to shore. We primarily recommend it for stillwater fishing, or for slow-flowing rivers where you don't need to fish with overly large jig heads, or where the current doesn't pull the attached wobbler too much. Due to its casting weight, smaller asp lures can be cast excellently with it.

Yellow-Medium action Casting weight: 10-28 g Recommended reel size: 3000-4000

A true opponent for pike, smaller catfish, and capital zander, asp in both rivers and stillwaters. With this casting weight range, we can effortlessly cast the lure sizes offered to larger predators to the right place and guide them properly during retrieve. Regarding line choice, we recommend 0.08-0.12 mm braided lines most. It has sufficient backbone to set the hook of the lure into the bony mouths of larger predators.

Red-Heavy action Casting weight: 14-42 g Recommended reel size: 4000-class

And here we enter the dangerous, red zone. But it only poses a danger to fish, as thanks to its power reserves, it can cope with the strength of catfish, and capital pike, zander. Due to its stiffness, larger jerkbaits can also be pulled with it, but it is also perfect for vertical fishing. It is characterized by a very strong, yet light and elegant blank. With the right reel choice, you will barely feel the equipment in your hand. For braided line, we can go up to 0.18 mm. It is a first-class rod for fast-flowing river sections. Due to its stiffness, you can pull jigs exactly where and how you want them. Four fantastic fishing rods for one goal. To spend our free time by the water with joy and success!
